Introducing Marmeladov - a logo design born from the fusion of darkness and fun, inspired by the intriguing name itself and the unexpected twist of orange marmalade.

In 2024, I embarked on a creative journey with a fellow filmmaker who had just launched a production firm. Together, we delved into the process of designing the perfect logo for Marmeladov, infusing each step with joy and excitement.

The journey began with collaborative brainstorming sessions, where we sketched out our initial ideas and explored different concepts. From these early sketches emerged the foundation of our design - a seamless logo that captured the essence of our vision.
My focus was not only on crafting a visually striking logo but also on ensuring its versatility and practicality. I meticulously developed a color chart and refined the design to ensure it could adapt to various mediums and applications.

The Logo
The Marmeladov logo is a blend of simplicity and intrigue. At its center is the word "Marmeladov" enclosed within a circular frame. The letter "M" is cleverly formed by an illustration of an orange peel, adding a playful twist to the design. The bold typography commands attention, while the sketchy yet refined quality of the illustration adds depth and character. This combination creates a logo that is visually striking and conceptually rich, capturing the essence of Marmeladov in a memorable way.

In addition to the main logo design, there are two alternative versions that offer flexibility and adaptability for various applications.
The first alternative features the name "Marmeladov" arranged in a half-circle, maintaining the circular motif while offering a slightly different visual interpretation. This version provides a dynamic and versatile option for use in different contexts.
The second alternative presents the name "Marmeladov" in a straight line, with the letter "M" cleverly transformed into the illustration of an orange peel. This variation offers a more streamlined and compact design while still incorporating the playful element of the orange peel.
Together, these three versions of the Marmeladov logo provide a range of options to suit different branding needs and scenarios, ensuring versatility and consistency across various platforms and mediums.
